TBI RESEARCH SUPPORT – DR MALIK ZABEN

Very close to our hearts is our support of Dr Malik Zaben's research into Traumatic Brain Injury at Cardiff University. Not least because Cardiff University is where Rhiannon studied for her Sociology Degree. When Rhiannon was injured, it was so devastating that nothing could be done to stop her brain from swelling and causing further damage. Malik strives to try and block the protein 'master switch' of neuro-inflammation following brain injury. His report is attached :
