St Briavells School

What a lovely day we had today! We were invited along to St Briavells School where Rhiannon taught on placement. Rhiannon loved this school and we can totally see why! The children have finished their memory garden for Rhiannon and they have worked so very hard - they have put in an outstanding amount of effort into the garden and it looks absolutely stunning! They have two benches - one with a memorial plaque to Rhiannon and they have made a beautiful mosaic bearing Rhiannon's favourite quote from Roald Dahl. The flowers were very purple, as was the bunting they had made. We were totally overwhelmed with their achievements. We were asked to plant a beautiful tree in the garden too - even that had been chosen for its purple fruit - so very thoughtful. The children read a beautiful tribute to Rhiannon followed by a lovely poem by Khalil Gibran - we were so moved. It really was a very special day. Thank you St Briavells, especially Mr Gazzard and the children. We hope to be able to make more donations to help St Briavells and our other sponsored schools in due course.
